From August 2003 to August 2005, the Center participated in the capacity building training program sponsored by Winrock, which covered the strategic planning, building of the council, capacity of leadership, fund-raising, written communication, financial management, volunteer administration and team building. The training greatly enhanced the normal management and sustainable development.
● A council was established and council members were trained.
● A 10-year strategic development plan was proposed.
● 2 staffs were selected to manage the finance and the relevant financial rules were amended and improved.
● A database of fund-raising information was developed and plans were proposed to raise funds.
● New versions of profile and annals were made.
● 70 volunteers were enlisted and trained. 20 of them produced a program on law popularization and women’s rights protection and staged it in 20 villages.
● Network members were also trained in team building.
