The Center has attracted much attention since its establishment. It has earned positive remarks from society and enjoys a good reputation home and abroad. CCTV, Legal Daily, China Women’s Daily, Huari Yuandong News and Hebei Daily all covered the Center’s achievements. The Center has been selected as outstanding unit by Qianxi county Political and Legal Work Committee for 9 years consecutively. In 1997, it was selected as outstanding unit by Tangshan city Committee for the Protection of Rights of Women and Children. In 1998, it was recorded a 3rd-grade merit by Tangshan city judicial bureau. In 1999, it was selected by Hebei provincial judicial office as the outstanding unit. In 2000 and 2001, it was selected as outstanding unit by Tangshan city Office for Administration of the City Lawfully. In 2002, it made a speech at Qianxi county conference on lawful administration of the county. In 2004, it won a prize of Chinese Local Government Innovation and was selected as outstanding unit for rights protection for women by the provincial Women’s Federation and Judicial Office.
The masses of Qianxi county, especially women, highly praise the Center. There are now more than a hundred pieces of complimentary gifts from the masses. One victim of domestic violence who has received aid of the Center often says “I did not find a good husband but I met with a good sort. It is the Center that has given me a new life.”
